ARTIST, RUIN HIS LIFE -- Jack works an easy job at the movie theater with his pal Nick, a sci-fi geek, and his aspiring actress girlfriend, Sharon. He used to be a pretty good painter, but there isn' much inspiration in this zombie-like existence. All of that is about to change when Marcus, a pissed off ninja in training takes it upon himself to teach a brutal lesson: Great art comes from great pain. What follows is a bloody trail of seduction, murder and maiming that only a ninja can inflict. Now, painting in a frenzy, Jack must fight not only for his art, but his life.

The official Tenth Annual TromaDance Film Festival Press Conference will be held at the famous indie Night Flight Comics in Salt Lake City, UT.

Lloyd Kaufman (founder of the TromaDance Film Festival) will host this event, along wtih Jonathan Lees (Program Director), TromaDance Spokeswoman Christel Edwards and performance artist Jennifer Wilson--who will discuss the importance of TromaDance Film Festival in the Salt Lake City and Park City areas, the entertainment featured throughout the festival and the closing night party!

The Tenth Annual TromaDance Film Festival will hold its prestigious Salt Lake City Library screenings on Wednesday, January 21st from 6PM - 9PM and Thursday, January 22nd 10AM - 6PM. Following the SLC Library screenings on the 21st will be a reception held at Night-Flight Comics from 8:30PM to 11PM, with TromaDance Filmmakers and TromaDance Film Festival founder, Lloyd Kaufman in attendance.

Official Feature Film Selections Announced!

We are pleased to announce today the official feature film selections for the Tenth Anniversary of the TromaDance Film Festival!

As it does every year, the TromaDance Film Festival will run concurrently with the Sundance Film Festival. On this celebratory year, film screenings and events will take place in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, from January 19th-23rd and will screen four truly independent feature films along with over 50 short films.

Tromapalooza Denver will be on January 16, 2009!

TROMAPALOOZA is a music and entertainment Event that helps raise money for the survival of the TromaDance Film Festival, an annual FREE Film Festival in Park City Utah. Tromadance Film Festival charges no entry fee for submissions in an effort to support independent art.
